Show me your track setup

I just wanted to check out how everyone else tunes their cars for the track. I will post up pics of my car when I take them.

It varies person to person.

I used to take my car directly to track, without any changes. Nowadays I change tires (R888) and brake pads (Pagid Yellow) before going to track. And I kept the track alignment setup for track and for occasional street driving.

I started out leaving it stock, but now the alignment is so far off stock, I barely drive it on the street anymore. I belong to a private track and we will have garages soon, so I plan to just leave it there permanently.

I more want to see aftermarket suspension setups and any engine mods people have done specifically to race around the track.

I fully understand that the stock suspension is very capable but was wondering if people have run other products,

For example right now I am running CROSS suspension on my Cayman S for the track. That is pretty much the only thing I have done, including a corner weight and balance.

I also have the exhaust for the car, just haven't installed it. It's been a while since I have had the exhaust just don't have the time. I also daily drive this thing so I do not have the time to just drop it off at the shop.

I have run several different coilovers for this car in the past but I'm more than Happy with the way this car performs with the Crosses. I have saved about 2 seconds with them on streets of Willow and about .5 on Willow springs. Just with a coilover swap.

Currently for brake pads I am running Porterfield R4. Neo synthetic brake fluid.

ummmm..... thats about it. Like I said I want to take shots of my car, but I'll do it when the exhaust is on. hehe.

See, you meant performance mods, not track setup that you will change back when you are done with track events. This topic is very general and varies depends on one's goals/TT or race class/budget.

PSS9/10 and H&R sway bars seem very popular among PCA TTer and racers. I have the RoW M030 kit installed and pondering about PSS10 for the future, in addition to the track tires and brakes I swap every time.
