interior trim question

interior trim question

Hello guys.
I am having a small problem I don't know if this is normal in all cayman's
but mine right on top of the glove box comparment the trim that pops down for the cup holders is not sitting flush you can see a small gap.. I am attaching a pic... can some one tell me if also having the same issue.

Lead Foot is infamous around these parts
My trim looks the same, so I checked out other Caymans and Boxsters for the same condition. They all looked like mine. So I concluded that it is a normal condition.
