First the boxster is not slow...certainly not an 09.

But, why compare a rear wheel drive boxster with a C4.

Go find a nice tip C2 cab for around the same if not less money. Then compare.

I own both. I love my boxster. But I just got a base C2 911 and I love it also. If I had to choose I go for the 911. Seems like more of a drivers car and the rear end propulsion makes a big impression when driving.

But I wouldn't be sad it I was left with the boxster.

 

Lets just say we've done quite a bit of "comparative" driving down in "Mexico"



in all seriousness though, I think Porsche did a great job of marketing the concept that a 911 is superior to the 987 in every way.... look how brainwashed 'lardog' is.... lol

 

Is that Name LARDOG a word used in the movie Coneheads with Dan Akroyd?

 

I haven't found a 996 that can come close to my Boxster S on the track.

She read all of your replies! BTW Her old '97 Boxster had 205 HP. The new one is a big step up.
