How long are your tires lasting?

I'm curious how many miles ur getting off your sets of tires?

Almost 14k and my PS2's are toast!

Is that average?

Yeah, I got about 18K out of my first set of rears. The fronts are gonna have to be replaced soon too, and they have almost 26K. All in all, not bad IMO. I had an Audi with Conti sports on it that we so soft that I had to replace them every 8K or so. Ditto with my G35 coupe.

The rears are gone but I still have life left on the fronts....should I just do rears or change them all?

I was told that the fronts last about 2x's as long as the rears. I'll probably replace all 4 when I need new fronts which should be sometime next spring. (30k miles or so)

Hope that helps!!

I got 28K out of My Nitto Tires !! the front were still in good shape so I just replaced the rears with TOYOS and the car felt funny and cornered bad ,Real bad and had some drifting as well . I went back the next day and replaced the front with some TOYOS and the CAR SMOKES !! I am really happy with the new Tires and it corners GREAT!! 295/30/19 Rear and 245/35/19 Front TOYO PROXYS ,They werent Cheep just over $1,500 with full alilgnment .
Hope this helps ,.... Replace all 4 IMO
FYI I would have stayed with Nittos if the made a 295 for the rear I actually like them better

I got 9K out of my PS2s but that's with plenty of autcross events and an agressive alignment.

Nexen N3000's will last atleast a year on a daily driven porsche. Not the best grip but still decent. Usually pricing on them are $120 or less per tire.

You can't really compare that unless you take into account the alignment and how someone drives.

02 S - Toyo T1Rs = ~12K Rears were dead. Fronts had decent tread, but began understeering more and more. I replaced all 4 and went with an aggressive alignment; it was stock before. It is incredible how night and day the handling is. It is incredible how much more turn in and cornering Gs the car can manage. Not sure what I will replace them with in the spring. I live in NW so need decent rain traction. Maybe GY F1s as they have equal high performance with wet traction.

Do you guys know if the Pirelli Pzero Nero is coming out with a new thread pattern? That's what I heard. Also, in tirerack.com, they are on sale right now
