New Headers and Cats For Boxster

I just received my new custom headers and sport cats from M&M exhaust in Germany via FVD Brombacher. They feature propriety tubing diameters, precise laser cut flanges, equal length primaries and a race style merge collector along with 200 cell tri-metal HJS cats. The quality, fit and finish is unequalled.

No dyno testing as of yet. However, I can tell you that there is a discernible difference in power across the spectrum. As for the sound, together with my custom exhaust, secondary cat deletes, and a high flow air intake, its astounding.

ilahi25 is infamous around these parts
How much quicker has it made your boxster? I'm looking to get the same mods on my 2001 Base Boxster. And is the sound soo loud to the point where you have to turn your radio up and lose hearing over time? Or is it just ear ripping at high rpms?

The vehicle now has a much more linear throttle response throughout the whole rpm/power spectrum. How much quicker is it ? Its hard to say since I have not tracked the vehicle. However, it feels much faster all around than before. As far as sound is concerned, my vehicle already had a very performance oriented exhaust note with the addition of a custom cat back. Indeed, the headers and cats added a more "throaty" sound at idle. And when I "get on it' , the sound is just "ripping".
