Have you considered the Cargraphic system for your 987 Boxster. Here is a quick link to the same setup on a Cayman

I dont know if Remus makes a gen 2 yet but I have a Gen 1 on my Cayman and love it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P6_cxbxq1k
It has to come down to your personal choice though I have heard around 10 Aftermarket Exhaust for our cars and every single one has something unique to offer be it sound ,Quality ,Price ,Performance .It can get seriuosly confusing . a Sugestion though, always buy from vendors that are sponsers on this site or Planet9,Teamspeed that way if there is ever an issue there is some good customer service to back up your purchase.IMO The vendors that posted in this thread are all Proven Top Quality people to do business with.
Rennsport-1 (That Cargraphic sounds wicked!!!)
Rhonda@FVD (Fantastic sounding)
Sharkwerks Thanks for the Remus video -You the Man

you cannot go wrong with any of these IMO

Thanks for the info. I listened to this clip of the Cargraphic and it just doesn't sound nearly as deep and loud as the Fabspeed or the FVD. Of course, hard to tell on a video. Thanks.

Porschepet,

Thanks for the Remus video - I hadn't seen that one yet. I have a call into Sharkwerks to get more info and see if it is available for the 987.2 and get more details. I also appreciate your recommendation about using the 6 Speed vendors. I too have found them to be first rate. Thanks for the inputs.

Hi Boxster737, glad to hear you are looking to upgrade to a new exhaust for your 2009 Boxster. Here is a video of our exhaust system on a 2009 Cayman S DFI car that sounded awesome. Our system eliminates the unnecessary 2nary catalytic converters for increased power but the mufflers are designed for everyday driving so there is no issues with drone. I have installed and driven quite a few of the boxsters with our exhaust and didn't experience any drone, just a nice sporty and aggressive exhaust note. PM me if you have any questions at all.
Thanks,

I saw a video of the FVD and it is so impressive.

I've also been familiar with Fabspeed for as long as I can remember (though the website needs to be updated to indicate that there are exhausts available for the DFI cars).

But does anyone have any experiences or videos with a Borla system for 2009+ DFI 3.4l cars? Thanks

I have cat bypass pipes and they are the best way to increase sounds and some good raspyness. after that I have a gen 1 deluboz muffler. all in all cost me around 350 bux. the test pipes were made by a local shop for 40 cash.

Stock exhaust perfect for me. Loud enough when you jump on it and quiet enough for those long trips. But to each his own. Look forward to watching what you go with.
