Where's the best place to purchase replacement front strut/shocks for and 01 S?
My front right strut is blown(leaking) and steering vibrates randomly at higher speeds. I'm looking to replace both front ones only. Not looking for an upgrade as its my daily beater. Bilstein has a HD and a sport version. Any difference?

I've got the Bilstein HD's on my 05 Boxster S, 19" wheels, standard non PASM. I think the Sports are a little stiffer. HD's are fine for me, less body roll, less brake dive, more responsive steering, less scraping on driveways and speed bumps. More jiggly on rough pavement.
So the Sports are more stiff than the HD's? I was thinking it was the other way around.
I'm still debating whether to go the ROW suspension for 1100+ labor for all 4 corners and F+R sway bars or just the front 2 shocks for 450+labor.

It really depends on what you intend to do with the car after you put the new parts on. If you plan to race it, you may want to consider a coilover setup for adjustability/tunability. If you plan to do DEs a few times a year, for less money than the coilovers, and achieve similar results (firmer ride, better handling, don't mind jarring ride on rough roads - you can go with a set of aftermarket springs & shocks (as others are suggesting). By the way, stiffer ride will eventually lead to more squeek and creaks inside your car, and you can't fix squeeks. Finally, if you liked the factory ride you had before, you can save money with a set of OE shocks and springs, and be quite happy. I know someone who couldn't be happier after he replaced the his worn out suspension with new factory setup. It's all about trade-offs.
The Boxster is used as a daily beater in rain/snow. I don't want to put much money into it as its driven 20k+miles a year.(Weekend or good weather is reserved for the C2). The factory suspension is fine but I'm not sure what suspension option it came with. I want to keep the springs but can't decide on the HD or sport Bilsteins.
HD with OE springs will do just fine. If the springs have 75k miles... and you are paying for labor, you may consider changing the springs as well.
