Very nicely optioned 2000 S, thoughts and opinions please.....
So I found a very nicely optioned 2000 Boxster S. The mileage is a little high, but still relatively low for these cars at 77k. The color is Polar Silver, yes Polar, and not Arctic Silver. It has a full boxster red leather interior with black carpets. Heated Front Seats Package, Seats with electrical height length and backrest adjustment, Left and Right, Memory function driver's side, Traction Control with ABD (active brake differential) With on/off switch, Sport Touring Package which includes Litronics and a few others I believe, Pioneer sound system, sport exhaust with the holes in it, full AeroKit II, speedster bumps, carbon fiber package, not sure which one, but it has a couple pieces on the doors, steering wheel, center console, and door sills. The seller also has optional oem hard top and 18" carrera light wheels. They are asking 18.5k right now. I have not seen this car in person yet because it is about 4 hours away but I am thinking it sounds worth it to go look at. Overall seems like a ton of nice options, with a rare and desirable color combo. Assuming all would check out in a PPI, what kind of price would you guys a car with this many options would go for?
The miles are a bit high, but not unreasonable. It should be past the point of experiencing any major issues. I'd be interested in seeing service records to see that the car has been maintained properly. 75k mile service should have been performed recently (and the 60k, which is the big one). You should also consider if brake pads/rotors and/or tires will need to be changed soon.
This is a pretty highly optioned car = $$$$ when new. Interesting color combo. Don't know that I've ever seen Boxster Red and Polar Silver together. Rare- definitely, desirable- depends on personal tastes.
Price doesn't seem too bad, but I'd probably offer 17.5 to get the ball rolling.

I can't really state what a good price would be since I haven't been tracking values on boxsters. however, having purchased an '02 non S box earlier this year, I would keep in mind that you may be in store for some worn suspension components in the not too distant future, so I would consider that in negotiations. for example, my box had 89k, only about 12k more than the car you're looking at, and the suspension was quite tired. I ended up replacing the struts/springs/sways with an ROW M030 kit, but despite the upgrade, it was obvious the orig struts were shot, i.e. unstable at high speeds, did not feel planted, etc. I also had to replace the front strut top bearings, which got rid of a clunking. finally, I also replaced the rear upper control/track arms to fix a clunking in the rear. the cv boots were starting to crack a little and the right rear wheel bearing was shot; I saved some $$ by doing most of the work myself, but the above are things that may very well require attention at the mileage you're looking at, based upon my personal experience. good luck
