Hi All,

I wanted to introduce myself as a new member. Came from an '02 Audi TT and have been looking for a Boxster for years. Totally broke the bank and will be eating ramen noodles for a year, but bought my first Porsche two days ago and am very excited about it. Already put 200 miles in three days!

It's a 2005 Boxster S, midnight blue, manual, and 19" Carrera S wheels. I think there has already been one mod on it. The sidemarkers are clear and not sure if they came clear that year. All the possible mods out there are making my head spin!

I'll put pictures up as soon as the weather becomes better!

In the USA, 2005 Boxsters came with amber side lenses. Here is a pic of my 05 before I swapped them to clear.

Congrats! Can't wait to see some pictures... though I'm confused when you said "I'll put pictures up as soon as the weather becomes better!"... Isn't the weather always nice in LA?

 

Just my luck there's a super winter storm in LA although that didn't stop me from driving in the rain. Now it's about getting used to starting the car with my left hand!
