Couple of simple maintenance questions

I have leased my Porsche Boxster S for a year now and am planning on buying out the car. Just have a couple of quick questions for you guys

1) how often do I have to change the oil? I hear 10k 15k and 20k. from different dealers. and what is the cost $200.00?

2) the brakes squeak a little bit from time to time, sometimes not for months but they come back. but when I had the pads checked out, they said there was plenty of pad left.

Do i have to replace the rotors when I change the brake pads in this car?
How much does it cost to get the brakes done?

Should you get all services done at Porsche Dealerships?

or can you go to local reputable shops that you trust?

and do you guys get the normal services like 10k? 45k? 60k? these type of maintenance services?

What is the cost for these services usually? and is it a must?

It sorta depends on how much you can/are able to work on your car.
You're gonna get a different answer regarding oil changes. I do them every 7500 and you can do it yourself or take it to a local shop. Buy the filter(10 bucks or so), buy the oil (45-50) and any shop will charge 20-25bucks labor. You just need to tell them that the oil needs to be drained at least 30 minutes and where things are located. I'm not sure how much the dealer charges.
Regarding the normal services, most can be done by yourself. There are a few sites with the list of stuff that needs to be checked/replaced. If you're not comfortable doing them yourself, I'd take it to a indy shop that won't charge you as much for the same work.

Lots of DIY out there for these cars

There are lots of DIY resources out there for these cars and you can save some serious money doing things yourself. Even if you don't DIY a read through of what the service requires is always good so you can either provide that to the Indy shop you're using or can know if they're doing the right things or not.
