Motor vibrating

Hello,

I have 20k on my 2008 Cayman S. When the RPM's reach 1800 the motor starting vibrating like an out-of-balance wheel. Anyone ever experienced this? I am going to take it to the dealer but that is usually a "works as expected" routine.

Thanks

Are you sure its the engine and not the wheels or drivetrain? If truly only the engine, then it would most likely be a broken engine mount.

Almost positive. I slowly rev the engine at a standstill then all of a sudden at 1800 it starts vibrating.
