Evoms Intake Issues 986

I just installed my evoms intake, but am having issues with connection the oem intake hose to the new maf housing, as it keeps slipping off, and the hose clamp is as tight as possible as the screw will not tighten further, any one else have this issue? Ideas how to remedy it? I'm going to try buying a smaller hose clamp that will end up being tighter since the screw will have more room to tighten.
