i'm looking for someone who can do a one-off wing/spoiler for my boxster. i'm not finding anything i really like in the world of ready-made products. i checked around some of the custom shops in tampa, but not too many people are intersted in fabricating anything. i have a machine that will work with aluminum if that's the way i want to go, but i'd rather have CF or fiberglass 'cuz if it comes out nice then maybe we make some more and sell them.

any ideas? doesn't need to be local to tampa.

 

checked ebay, some spoilers and wings weren't too bad but the work to reshape something and make it look good would about the same as just building right the first time. so at this point, i'd rather build it than buy it.

sounds like i might have to buckle down and learn how to do CF myself.

 

Try Getty Design, Precision Porsche, Kokeln Racing, Fiberwerks or Carbon Fiber Werks. You might get lucky.

p.s. You are correct regarding the amount of time one has to spend reshaping and tweaking most of these after market fiberglass pieces in order to make them fit perfect.
