Im considering putting alcantara inserts in my boxster seats similar to what you see in the new spyder. My boxster has heated seats. Does anyone know if this can be done with the heated seats?

 

I dont think it will be a problem at all. The heating elements are found below the seating surfaces. If you have the alcantara installed over the leather I am sure the heated seats will not be as stong because the heat has to now pass through both the leather and alcantara instead of just the leather.
