Casey,

Can you comment further on the new snail in development? Are we talking about a larger turbo for more power, a smaller turbo for quicker spool, a more efficient turbo for less power/more reliability, etc?

Thanks!

I'm guessing variable vein turbos? VTG a la 997 turbo?

As you can tell from my sig, I'm still in research mode as I'm in the market for a used Cayman S. Your systems and the praise they've received help me lean Cayman S over my other potential choices (b8 s4, e92 m3).

I am biased because I am a DPE distributor but if it was me, I'd do TPC. When the time comes I can get you some great pricing on DPEs.

Switchface..... I traded in my 08 e92 (purchased brand new and loaded) for my used, not so loaded 07 cayman s. Not a day of regret yet. My cayman is by far more fun to drive.

The prices on used Cayman S are making the move very tempting. I figured the Cayman might not be as good at casual driving (gobbling up highway miles or mellow morning commutes) as the s4/m3, so this is good to hear. Feel free to PM me with more of your compared impressions so we don't derail this thread.

On topic: Kevin was nice enough to give me a ride in his TPC car...wow, fun fun fun!!
