Are there RMS issues with the current Boxsters?

I'm a novice at Boxster information. Any info will help a future purchase decision. Thanks

If you mean the new Boxster, 987, not seen a report. Yet. I think it is just a matter of time.

It has happened to two 997 owners on rennlist.

The 997 has been out longer than the 987.

From the local tech guru, after attending training on the 987...not all RMS root-cause issues have been addressed, so some "RMS" failures can be expected (although some root causes have been addressed over the years). It is not nearly as bad/frequent a problem as it once was, though.

A bit disappointing.
