If you want the lightest race wheel set out there, check out the Forged Alloys/AMT wheels.
19x8.5 - 16.3lb
19x10 - 18.5lb
http://execstudio.com/products_wheels_forged_alloys.htm

If you are looking for some light, forged wheels that would cost the least, check Rennen Modular out:
http://execstudio.com/products_wheels_rennen.htm

Both are available from us at some VERY attractive pricing. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Personally, I would go with 18's. The chassis was designed/developed/tuned with 18's in mind. 18's should be slightly more readily affordable. The ride should be more supple and better in a variety of conditions in real life driving.

dave-t will become famous soon enough
Are you planning on lowering your new car? If so I think 18" wheels look better than 19" wheels. I currently have the 18" OEM Cayman SII wheels on my car dropped with H&R springs and I love the look. Then the next thing is going to be should you put spacers on to fill out the wheel wells? The mods never stop.

Congrats on the new ride,

dave-t

Alex,

Do you have any more pics of the whole car with the OZ's? I'm considering going with a set for autocrossing...

Custom offset and lighter then cast wheels. These are also very inexpensive.

Here is another option:

I have a set of 19" Sport designs that came off my '06 Cayman S with 18,000 miles. 8" wide front. 9.5" wide rear. One front has some slight curb rash. One rear has a few curb rash spots. They have the painted color crest center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport 2s. Front have about 60% tread left. Rear have about 30% tread left. If you're interested, I could take a bunch of digital photos and send them to you. Reply via 6speed or directly at gearle@eone.com. Thanks, George
