Replacement Instructions and help for 00 Boxster Clutch

I have a 2000 Boxster 2.7L, and I need to change my clutch. The dealer is asking some astonomical number for the sachs clutch and I was looking around for the clutch. I found out that sachs doesnt even specify the difference between the 97-99 to the 00-04. My mechanic spoke with a company in Ceritos Ca that said that the two are pretty much the same and the 97-99 clutch should work on the 00. Does anyone have any recomendations?

Also, does anyone know what the labor entails (directions to changing the clutch).

And most importantly, does anyone know of a cheap/good shop to go to for this?
