I believe that's correct, though I don't find the R overly loud, and I prefer the engine sound over the S.

The R is a bit more raw than the S. It keeps reminding you that you are driving a real sports car. It's louder, the ride is a bit more harsh and it has fewer creature comforts. It's sort of like comparing a GT3 to a standard Carrera.

Certainly a capable daily driver, even with the sport bucket seats. I actually find the sport buckets the most comfortable of all the Porsche seats. Once you get in them that is.

LOL. Yea, getting in and out is the work. The sport buckets are very comfortable to drive in. Maybe not for big & tall folks tho.
