Might point out that at 127K miles I think you have one of the good/better bearings. The early Boxsters (and 996's) came with the double row bearing which has the lowest failure rate.

(My 2002 Boxster, with I believe a single row bearing, has gone over 315K miles so the single row bearings can hold up well, too.)

But of course it is up to you if you want to have a bearing upgrade installed. Then you need to decide which one.
