I heard some sour stories about 98-03 Boxsters having nightmarish costs to keep them in shape. I myself have been a big fan of Porsches for a long time, and I'm (without shame) looking to get one on the non-expensive side.

Will I dig myself into a hole, buying a Boxster, with upkeep, or what is usually the case?
