By the way, Vetman, I saw Scott McKenzie in concert at the Irvine Auditorium in '68 or '69. I never did managed to get into one of those groovy love-ins, though! My bad.

Scott McKenzie in Irvine! Nice! "San Francisco" is obviously the one most people know... was he also responsible for "California Dreamin'", or did he "grandfather" into it as the later Mamas and Papas?
I've been to a rap/hip-hop concert at Irvine auditorium.... All I have to say is, Irvine wasn't really meant for such!! All the idiots jumping up and down on the seats made me cringe..

Hi Saludos, thanks for the wishes! Nope I'm originally from Kuwait, but I reside in Dubai. I have serious identity issues so don't even try grounding me to geography!
But yeah, all the list of options you mentioned are currently available in the Dubai Market. I have about a month to change my options, is there anything 'big' coming? like a new exterior/interior color? Or new rims?
I'm going for a White/Red combo, but I'm really leaning towards the Amber too, the deviating stitching against the Grey does it for me.
What the reference made in "Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco"? I'm curious.

I saw it at the Geneva Motor Show this past March and nearly put an order down for one in lime gold metallic with a two-tone interior in agate grey and lime gold in February, but switched to a custom Cayenne S in March [more space, nearly the same price] since I've already got a 2008 Boxster S I refuse to part with. Had I ordered it then, I would've taken delivery around the end of November since some of my options were to be introduced at a later point in the year.
Your white-on-red configuration sounds fantastic and very sporty; what options did you specify? When are you supposed to take delivery?

My story is different: I got a well-optioned 2011 cayenne S, I'm a quality freak and I really loved the quality on that one. I sold it a month ago because I just knew it didn't fit my personality. I'm all about the sport! I saw the boxster and instantly knew I wanted it. Everyone told me it was a step down, I didn't care.
I get delivery in January
