I've searched for some audio system information but haven't come up with much. Part of the problem is that I don't know the nomenclature for Porsche's audio units.

My main question is, what does it take (can it be done) to integrate a Sat radio tuner into the base OEM head unit? Does it matter whether it has BOSE or not?

I'm not aware of any way to integrate w/ the OEM HU... it is a POS anyway, so why not switch it for an aftermarket double DIN??

You'd need a "bezel" from a guy called Loi at EuroMotorSpeed...

I went this route on my 987.1 (non-Bose), and it sounds much better and I got BlueTooth and iPod..

After looking around quite a bit, it seems like the only way to go is dump the OE unit. Thanks for your reply. I'll keep searching. I'm currently watching for the right car...
