Sorry, not yet, the tuner, Proto-Tech is taking longer than expected, not happy about it but let’s wait on the outcome

Bump for an upate.

OP have you followed the IMA Motorsport build? Their kit was a twin turbo with variable vanes like your build. They seemed to have difficulty with building boost down low around 3000rpm or less. I'm not sure how much time they had with the car to tune though.

I can't remember the size of the engine that they were using but I would think the 2.7L would be harder to make more boost lower than the larger engine. They posted a dyno chart. I know that you are shooting for more whp and with a stout whole engine rebuild it will be easy to turn up the boost to attain the nubers that you want. How are these two turbo kits (IMA and yours) different? Have you considered a sequential Bi-turbo setup? I would think that this would be a nice track setup.

The car is still sitting at Prototech. There were some delays with theTurbos and finally they arrived yesterday. Spoke with David Hart yesterday andhe will start bolting in the turbos, since it was all set before since we hadMock Up turbos, so is a bolt on thing now. He said that he will start the carnext week and see how it all looks, he still needs to do tuning and check thatis all running properly. After that, we will need to break in the re enforcedengine before a final tune up and then take it to the Dyno.

It’s been a long ride, hope this car is running in 1 to 2 weeks, now allparts are in and ProtoTech just needs to work on final installation and tuning.

Once the car is running, I will continue with the post, I will post newpictures, car runs and Dyno test and results. Hoping the project ends up withcool results.

Cheers
