ideas for Sons boxster Christmas

Hey Boxster guys!

My son just bought his first Porsche. A 2001 boxster s. I have to say I am incredibly impressed after driving it and wish my 911 had a second gear like his. He plans on doing some autos with me in the spring.

I need some ideas for Christmas and educated suggestions on improvements, from big to small.

He would love a hardtop. Need to find one sub $1k. Anybody have one?

Thanks!

I will keep my eye out for a hard top. As for improvements, I would get him an extra set of tires because he is going to be hooked afterwords. I would consider some H&R Sway Bars or springs.

The Boxster is a great platform for an Auto X car. Sway Bars are a great idea for someone getting started, and all of our H&R components are currently 10% off which should help you out a bit and it will not bump his class in SCCA during the Auto X. I would also suggest looking into a HPDE for your son to attend if he plans on making the jump to circuit racing.

HPDE is a great suggestion!

Get him some high temp brake fluid and some better pads, especially fronts.

I had an 02 S and LOVED IT!!

His own PCA membership followed by HPDE. Two great gifts that will "keep on giving".

At the detriment of his bank account! Money well spent though!
