2007 Cayman as a DD?
Great car, go for it. May I suggest you get a PPI before you buy. Here's a good link for pertinent info, plus a printable checklist from Pelican Parts. Best of luck friend. http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...repurchase.htm
1997 boxster base. Over 162K and does over 100 miles per day as my DD. DIY as much as possible since the Indy and dealer are both 45 minutes away. I do my Oil changes at 5K, 0W40 Mobil1, I don't track it, run Conti all season contact extreme DWS tires. I enjoy learning more about my 15 year old German gokart, and the DIY makes a great teacher. Currently playing with MAF sensor again after re-trying a K&N air filter. Results to be posted in a few weeks. I say go for any Porsche for everyday transportation.
Just got my 08 CS in Feburary. Have put about 3k miles on it. Bought it with 29,800k miles. Love the car. Love it more than pretty much all of the BMWs I owned. Haven't had any issues so far as a DD. of course my commute is 14 miles round trip daily. Have done some modifications to it and still know issues knock on wood. Just changed my oil and spark plugs. So far this car seems very reliable. Go for a CS!! Can't go wrong!
my buddy has a 2007 Cayman base and he has 130K on it and its never seen the shop .not once except for 60k service 120K service and oil and she runs like new . he drive it like there no tomorrow as well so pretty solid id say
