Question on 987.2 Boxster S Pricing
Question on 987.2 Boxster S Pricing
I'm in socal. Looking to pickup a facelift 987.2 for my wife to replace her Mini. Not scared of mileage, she only puts 3-5k/yr on her car.
Seems like the 987.2 has taken a decent depreciation hit the past 6mo, probably due to the 981 release. Much more than I've seen on the 911 I own.
I've seen a couple in the low 30's for an S, auto, average spec, with around 25-35k miles.
Any thoughts on this pricing? Feel about right?

I traded my 2010 987.2 S in a month ago with 20k miles and few options, and I got 44k for it from the Porsche dealer. And that was not an inflated price from price shifting during the deal, because I also got about 5% off list on a 981 with few options. So I am quite surprised you can find 987.2's that cheap. Wow!
I didn't see any for low 30s when I was searching. There is this one in Del Mar - I haven't seen it in person and know nothing about this dealership. It was comparably priced with others in the area. Which is why I went for a 2009 997 Carrera instead...
