Cayman Colors
I placed my order for the Cayman S last night. The car will be a November build, but the dealer says all Caymans will be "held on the dock" until January so that all arrive across the country simultaneously.
I ordered PASM, Sport Chrono Plus, PCM 2.1, 19" sport design wheels, Bi-Xenon, wheel caps, self-dimming mirrors w rain sensor, heated setas, Adaptive sport setas, full leather, matching floor mats, Bose, multifunction steering wheel. FYI, the retail tricked out at $77,400 including a $795 destination charge. I could not get any discounting, although I have a vague promise that the dealer will work with me on dealer-installed items like the radar detector, side markers and 3M bra I will install.
There are no options for Painted Dials, Short Shifter or Sport Exhaust. I was told to expect those later on - maybe mid-2006. There's also something called an "expanded NAV module", at a whopping $3,000 plus, but no one at the dealership knew what that meant. Anyone at 6-Speed have a clue?
I ordered Atlas Grey with Stone Grey interior and am still agonizing over the choice. I don't think those aluminum gauges will look good with any brown shades of leather, and that heavily influenced my decision. My alternative color combination would be Seal Grey with Stone Grey interior. Any thoughts on this?

Lapiz Blue
My brother ordered a 987 in Lapiz Blue with beige interior, it was gorgeous, due to some problems he hasnt got the car yet so he had to let this one go for a couple of months. In less than a week the car was sold. Beautiful combo, he ordered PCM, BOSE, Xenon, model delition, and others, it was just amazing

I am planning on buying a Cayman S. My top two choices for colors are Atlas Grey or Lapis Blue. I am thinking about the best interior. I do not like grey, so that is out. Black should work well with either. I will also not get beige, but what about black/beige two tone with the Lapis?
I would appreciate any opinions on the best interior colors with Lapis and Atlas, including anticipation of the new two-tone offerings (black/beige, black/terracotta, existing black/grey)
Thanks
