Hope someone can help. I have a 2013 Boxster S with the high end stereo system and every time I turn my car off, I have to reset my sound settings. The bass, treble, fader, balance and surround sound revert to the zero setting. Have any of you come across this, and if so have you found a solution?

I think these settings get saved to your key if you have the memory seat option and the memory function turned on. At least thats what the documentation says.

Not sure what happens if you don't have the memory seats.

 

Check automatic memory save setting when lock, see page 109 of Owner's Manual

 

i think this is right; when i got my 991, had the same issue until i got around to setting my key then had to set the other key as well.
