Burmester in 204 Cayman S?
Burmester in 2014 Cayman S?
Has anyone here actually heard the Burmester option in the new Cayman? Any comparison between the Base, Bose, and Burmester? Planning to order a Cayman, and trying to determine if the Burmester is worth the extra cost.....

dont bother with the bose though, it is VERY heavy on bass but thats about it.. i dont think it was that good for the price tbh, i havent heard the standard one but the bose was not good enough imo, coming from Audi S5 B&O and standard bmw 7 stereo...
Haven't heard it in the Cayman, but did in a 911, primarily to see if I would order it in my next Cayman. Although expensive, it's miles better than the Bose and way cheaper than anything else Burmester. If you're planning on listening to decent sources, it may be worth it if you're into that kind of thing
when i spec'ed a Pano GTS i made sure it was on the list - i don't think i would order it in a Cab 911 or Boxster though.
I have it in my Cayenne. I wouldn't do the Bose at all. I would either do the standard or spend it on the Burm.
I am a huge home audio buff and to get Burmester into your home will cost at least 80K for their lower line stuff. So with that in mind, I saw the price they are offering it in the Porsches as a relative bargain.
