Hello. I'm a new member but a long time lurker. After months of research and test drives, I finally ended up buying a 2014 Cayman S today.

Cayman S in Agate Grey, PDK, PASM, Sports Chrono, Premium Package with Power Sports Seats, Infotainment with Bose, Sports Design Steering Wheel, 20-inch Carrera S (bronzed, the sales rep told me). Got it for 8% below MSRP. Not sure if that is good or bad, but I'm happy. Here are some early pics.

Very nice looking and with all the right options. I am jealous. I have Cayman S fever myself. Still can't decide PDK or manual. Driving a black S manual on Friday that has about everything I want on it. Not my rim of choice and no ventilated seats. In AZ for a Black car that might be a must have but I could live without it. Finally a Manual with the Chrono Package for a test drive. Curious to try the rev matching feature on a manual car. I have always said I am not a paddle shift guy but the PDK is pretty darn nice and would be easy to live with for sure. I can see why the track rats like it so much. You don't have to worry about your feet and you can focus on other issues at hand. Enjoy. 8% under sounds like a good buy. No trade involved I would guess.

Very nice car. I think you did pretty good on the price. Also, ditto on the clear side markers. It was one of the first things I changed on my 987.1S, along with silver front badge and polished exhaust tips. Then, it was all downhill from there.

 

Very nice looking car. I've been test driving 981S Caymans and Boxsters. The wheel option you got is called Platinum Satin. Check Porsche's configurator online.

8% sounds like a very nice deal. I've heard of deals ranging from a low of 4 to a high of 7% on Caymans.
