What to be aware f with respect to 1 to 3 y.o. base Cayman
I'm new here so please be gentle. <g> I've owned lots of German (and other) brands and types of vehicles but though I have driven several, I have never owned a Porsche.
I've decided to look for a 1 to 3 y.o. base Cayman with the dual clutch transmission and as few other options as possible. What do I need to know about '11, '12, and '13 models?
Thanks in advance.

I just bought a '10S. Still under warranty until next Sept. Since you've got anywhere from 1-3 years of warranty left on those models (hardly anyone runs out of warranty on miles), I wouldn't worry too much about buying in the year range. I'd look for the same stuff I would on any used car -- signs of damage, abuse, extensive miles spent on salty roads or time parked outside near saltwater locations. Drive it - and have them put it up on a rack for you. If it's been cared for, you'll see it.
