Getting ready to order a Fab Speed exhaust and can't decide on the chrome tips or black tips. 2013 White boxster...

Thoughts

 

Are the black ones the carbon fiber? I'm a sucker for CF!

 

Just got the chrome ones for my 15CS. Look fantastic, very well made.

 

I don't think so. On another forum I read where they just appear to be a blackish chrome.

Think I will just go with the chrome.

 

When I bought mine they asked me if I wanted chrome or carbon fiber.

 

I just ordered the exhaust system and went with the black. They are not CF, just black in color.

Apparently they do not stock the systems and build the system once an order is placed, so I need to wait 3-4 weeks. So much for instant gratification...

I only live about 1.5 hours from them, so I will have them do the install.

 

Just to clear up any confusion:

The tips that are included with out Maxflo system come in chrome or black chrome

The bolt on tips we offer for the OEM system come in polished chrome or carbon fiber
