Porsche testing 2 more mysterious Boxster/Cayman prototypes on the Nürburgring!

Recently I have filmed a couple of Porsches being tested on the Nürburgring, Nordschleife in Germany. Looks like Porsche is testing some new engines for the Cayman & Boxster!

Interesting. They sound like current F1 cars, which isn't a compliment. Guess they're being driven to small displacement turbos by the market. Glad older Porsches will always be cooler than new ones (sans the 918)!!

The black Cayman certainly sounds like a flat four, to me (rather Subaru-like).

Interesting. Flat 4 sound is very distinctive.

You do realize that there was a black Boxster with red top and a black Cayman, right? To me, a black Boxster and silver Cayman sounded different than a black Cayman.

Regardless, I think flat four is coming too soon.
