Caymen verse 991

Does anyone else think the Caymen is better looking than the 991? Seems like the caymen is a better value car. What are your thought?

I think the cayman looks better from the side and the 911 looks better from the front and back.

The Caymen has a GT look about it which seems to draw the attention

Looks are subjective. I agree, the Cayman looks much better to me. I think part of the problem is also the image of each vehicle. If someone had no knowledge of Porsche and saw the specs / images of each car - I think more would prefer the Cayman.

Add in the history of "911 heritage" and how the Cayman was born - then more people start swaying towards the 911 as it is more the "must have" car.

I totally agree, the average person that knows nothing about both cars will likely picked the Cayman, the side scoop, it's smaller and just looks more sporty. The 911 looks big in comparison.

You must have very sharp eyes. The 991 C2 stands .28" higher, .4 " wider & is 4.61" longer than the base Cayman. All kidding aside, the GT-4 will impact some 991 sales. Personally, I love my 991 but would trade for a GT-4 in a minute, if it came with PDK.

Definitely the 911 looks better and is more fun to drive IMO except for very tight turns. The 911 S is also faster according to Porsche.

PDK will come in the near future. I can't imagine Porsche limiting it's customers.
