My experience Cayenne rims to drive a 2005 Boxster S in winter
After moving from California to an area with real winter, I decided I needed winter tires to run in place of PS3s.
10Jx19 winter tires are expensive and perform poorly in the snow, so I wanted new rims.
I looked into buying Boxster rims, but used 18 inch Boxster rims were not available locally and new Boxster rims were far more than I wanted to pay.
I ended up buying a set of 18 inch Cayenne rims for a song and using 1.5 inch spacers on the rear ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/5x130-Wheel-...-/281756065442 )
I ran 225/45R18 WS80 tires all around.
The fit is great. They are perfectly flush to the fender and look very aggressive.
I wanted to share my (positive) experience as I'd read many forum posts advising people not to do this but there were no first hand experiences. Weight is a bit high, but I'm running 20% less tire which is good for the winter and offsets the weight of the spacer.

Here are the rims pre-spacer. http://imgur.com/VaDGZW8
Acceptable, but not great. The front is slightly farther out than stock (7mm?). The rear is farther in than stock (25mm?).
With the 1 1/2 inch spacer, they rear is flush with the fender and the setup looks great. Sorry, I do not have a photo of that, I'll upload it next year
