Michelin PS Cup question for Cayman owners

Has anyone had experience with running 235/35 19 front and 265/30 19 Cups on the Cayman S? OD of the rear tire is reduced an inch from stock and I am unaware if it will cause any trouble on the track. I am assuming it will be driven with the traction controll turned off on the track.

Can those in the know please reply. I have a customer considering the tires and I don't want to sell them if they won't work.

Thanks.

the closest to oem tires to run on track short of hoosiers is toyo RA1.
245 and 275. they are a lot less finicky than mpsc and not necessarily slower and you can drive them on street and last longer. i would run RA1 on my gt3 if i had right size.

i am no my 2nd set of RA1 on cayman. you have more than evnough grip wiht RA1 on stock caymans.

Paul S is infamous around these parts
RA1's are great tires. Wish they had as many Porsche applications as they do BMW. Too bad TR doesn't sell Toyo's, I hope that could be fixed some day.
