So my brother's thinking about picking one up. Are dealers discounting these cars yet or are they still asking MSRP + dealer markup? Thanks in advance!

 

U should be getting at least $3k off MSRP. Start with $5k and work your way down. These cars are very expensive IMO. I'd rather get a Boxster S, esp with the nice weather we are getting.

have seen 6._k off. don't see them on the road much but lots of them sitting on dealers' lot. that tells u something.

i'm sure the Cayman is a great car but doubt the US market will not accept it. people here would spend more to buy a cab than a coupe but when u have a cab (the great Boxster) price way below (more discount as well) than the coupe. i want one since i'm not a cab person but the poor lease rate kinda turned me off.

i left the cover off. don't want to put in on to hide the inside. Joe bought a 1:18 model for me on B-day so i have at least a one with the finished look.
