My brother is looking to buy a '03 Boxter S. I know squat about them and am hoping you guys can help.

1. How does this car look at around $36k? Seems high to me.

Tim, for reference, currently that car would go in the $30-36k range at auction, $34-38k at retail. If he negotiates down to $32-33k, seems like a pretty nice deal. If he's your brother, can we assume it's headed for some serious mod's?

 

I gave him a sprited drive in my car and you could see the hook set in his mouth. We went around one 90 degree corner at about 65 in a four wheel drift right to the edge of the road (with warmed R's on) and he's sitting there with his hands forward going "Oh Sh*t!" and when I powered out to about 120 mph in another second or two he just sat there looking at me and I didn't say a word.

After another moment he goes "I'm getting one of these".
