Tool Pants is infamous around these parts
We usually have the B&M set screw facing the front of the car.

Jack,
Just playing safe, heard from some other 6Speeders of the slop/breakage of the OE plastic link. Heck, was going to be happy with just my billet linkage until read your thread. From there was easy to justify since already taking apart. Thanks buddy, funny b/c I too was on the fence. Plan on installing in a couple of weeks along with Motons, roll cage, GIAC flash and some dyno time, can't wait till done.

damn, that thing will be a Monster!! lol

i have a dyno appt. tomorrow morning for a baseline, then from there i think its a chip (giac/revo?) and exhaust time. I think ill look into the billet linkage some more, is there a specific thread that deals with the breakage of the stock one??

Jack,
I shot a message to Rockitman to ask about the Evo Shift Link as he has one. His car is set up nicely, believe he changed out before breaking one, he tracks his often. Then traded messages with Kennasbimmer and found out that he was stranded with a broken one. That was enough for me, a little insurance for peace of mind.
Let us know a what your a/b dyno was and if you feel a diff with the GIAC flash. Mine is going to the shop on 8/28.
GL.

i usually dont shift that hard very often so who knows if one is in my future (ill prob be the one on the side of the road lol)

i passed on getting my car dyno'd that day as the shop was using a dynapack, and it seemed they didnt know exactly what they were doing although my buddies audi TT put down 229ish which was around 280ish at the crank
