How much power the car can take is all a matter of what your used to. My Talon makes 424whp but with AWD and feels pretty tame to me. My buddys Miata made 475whp at 24psi of boost on pump gas. He thinks is perfectly fine, but the tires spinning in 4th kinda scare me a bit... My other buddy has a MK4 supra with 640whp on a T88 at 20psi (or so ish..) It feels more controlled but still scary in my books, he thinks its slow cause he can't beat an R1 on the highway.

I think the boxster with 350whp would be just about right. Plenty of power to get in trouble with, but not too much that it's going sideways over 100mph..

I like that idea. I'm making about 365 at the crank right now. It is definitely controllable and so I'd like to see 350-375 at the wheels. To get there, I'd probably need a S/C or some Turbos. I'm back to square 1.

Crap.
