Supercharge your Cayman S
More is never enough.
..I will always want more but not much more in the Boxster platform...Over 375WHP would be too much in this car. I want it to be drivable and over 375 it would become a handfull as traction is already an issue (no PSM)...Remember this is no 911 so there is no weight over the rear wheels to assist in the traction . But if you want the fastest way around a track this is it. The mid engine layout is perfect for the track!

But if you want the fastest way around a track this is it. The mid engine layout is perfect for the track! How much power the car can take is all a matter of what your used to. My Talon makes 424whp but with AWD and feels pretty tame to me. My buddys Miata made 475whp at 24psi of boost on pump gas. He thinks is perfectly fine, but the tires spinning in 4th kinda scare me a bit... My other buddy has a MK4 supra with 640whp on a T88 at 20psi (or so ish..) It feels more controlled but still scary in my books, he thinks its slow cause he can't beat an R1 on the highway.
I think the boxster with 350whp would be just about right. Plenty of power to get in trouble with, but not too much that it's going sideways over 100mph..
I like that idea. I'm making about 365 at the crank right now. It is definitely controllable and so I'd like to see 350-375 at the wheels. To get there, I'd probably need a S/C or some Turbos. I'm back to square 1.
Crap.

Crap.
