its a gamble. I bought my 19,000 mile boxster 8 weeks ago and the engine blew last week. I am taking the plunge with the 3.4l swap. If I had a warranty, I wouldn't be spending what I did...

But, you could think of it as Kharma! Maybe God really wanted you to have a 3.4L engine!

meh. the 3.4 will be nice. But I am only 8k away from what I could have bought a 1 yr used 8000 mile old boxster for. Its all good though. If I believed in Karma, I should take comfort in what he is getting ready to do to the previous owner of my car. (whom in hind sight I think may have had an idea this was about to happen)

So some how I now have 2 "project" cars. My wife puts up with one mistress. Not sure how she will deal with 2.
