About 1 year ago I bought a new rear strut tower brace and was planning on installing it when I got the car back. Well tonight after the Cards /Mets game (Go Cards) I decided to install it. It only took about 1 hour including getting out the tools and taking off the hardtop. Since it was so late I only drove it for a few min but the car feels much stiffer. Does anyone else have this and think it is a good cheap (relatively for a Porsche) modification. I would like to hear your feed back also if I should get one for the front.

Thanks
Josh

I've got a strut brace on the rear, but not on the front. The Boxster has a built-in strut brace on the front, if you look closely. What kind did you get?

Racing dynamics from ebay last year...I saw it on there and thought what the heck...Have you heard of them?

BTW...Since I only had a few min in mine what do you think about yours?

Have never heard of them. I've got the Schnell in mine, the gold anodized one.

It's hard for me to comment on mine because I had other things done around the same time as when I put that in, such as changing the camber on my wheels which made a huge difference. I'm sure it doesn't hurt it at all, and likely just helps a tiny bit on huge harsh corners.

Any chasis stiffening is always a good thing! Most notably when you have aftermarket suspension products installed.
