Hey guys been convincing a friend of mine not to go through installing his rims, the fronts are not a problem because they are with in 986 boxster specs, 225/40/18 8.5" width, but the rears are 305/35/18 12" wide. on the test fit the rear tires would hit the rear shocks, until one wise guy selling him spacers and told him the spacers should cure his rim problem. Although the rims would look nice, champion motorsports taken of a 996 and i think this thread should help him understand what he's going to eventually do to his car why they wont fit and what might happen if he proceeds! pls help me lead him to see the light! will ask him to check this thread soon tia!
