ItaLianFiXaTion is infamous around these parts

alenst, its not off the 996 or 997 tt, its of the cayman. as said earlier from someone out of motortrend. therefore correct forum and SWEET ride

No...

The front is from the 997TT, and everything from the seats and behind is from RUF. The only thing that's from the Cayman is the rear lights..

He's right unfortunately. The wheelbase is way to long to be Cayman based but this does show that Ruf realizes that the Cayman platform (mid-engine) is the best platform

Not to get into "best" platforms, but RUF's other super high end Italian design exotics are based on the Cayman and Boxster. Obviously Alois likes something about them.

This car is not based on a Cayman. It has the front half of a 997 with a custom rear end and a mid mounted 3.8L twin turbo with 700 hp. This is a real dream car and a bargain at about $600k
