I think it's beautiful. I have never seen one of these in person, but I have a feeling it would look pretty awesome just looking at its proportions.
But hey, different strokes for different folks. I remember when the first pics of the enzo came out. So many people were bagging on how UGLY it was. I say take a look at this car in person, or at the very least side by side with a CGT, 911, or Cayman so there's an authentic basis of comparison for design.
I think it's a great option for those with the means to want something a little different.
