I am buying some 996 parts from a custom fabrication shop in San Diego- Larry, the owner, has some ultra-sick carbon fiber boxster consoles for sale... for $499!!
I wish he had some for a 996.. but I'm just letting anyone with a boxster know to jump on this now if you want a steal. He has 5 of these and that's it.

Correct me if im wrong but wont these fit early 996?? I thought it was the same part?

 

Ive done some business with Larry... nice guy... stuff is quality for the price. And yes the console is the same.

 

Hmm- I talked with Larry and he told me the console is too short for a 996. By early 996, do you mean '99-'01? I'm sure Larry would have been happy to sell me one if it fit.

 

Yeah i have a 99' Im almost positive that its the same console for all 996/986. The interors are almost identical. In fact i think when I had my Boxster I had a carbon console from a 996 lol. Im behind this morning and I can check it out in a littel bit. Weird???

 

The 996 console has an extension on the back of it. Remove the extension and you have a Boxster console. Put the extension on and you have a 996 console.
