Feeler: JIC Cross coilovers for 996TT

I am selling a slightly used set of JIC cross coilovers (approximately 800km), they are the 8/12kg spring rates, I bought them from Dan at Vivid Racing, about 1 mth ago. I hate to get rid of them, but due to circumstances, the car will now be driven by my fiance, and she dis-like lowered cars... The suspension is still shinny new, will be taken off once I am back to Toronto next week.

I paid $2850 + shipping/brokerage/duties = $3100
Asking $2300 OBO, local pick-up prefered.

Definately my lost, your gain.

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,

I have a stock 996 C4S, so I understand they'll fit.

But what do these spring rates mean? Are they much firmer than the stock C4S or TT springs?

I read the description on Vivid's site, but in regards to feel, is it too firm for a daily driver? (i.e. too bumpy for your girlfriend?)

Yup they fit, 8/12kg spring rate are for light track and agressive street performance, you can feel all the potholes and imperfections, but in exchange for precise handling. My girlfriend was fine with the ride, she's more concern with the ride height.

bentlink this is a smoking deal! Don't waste your time thinking!....just buy them! I paid like $3k for a set of these a month ago... and like I said before, I would have bought these in an instant if it weren't for timing, and would have saved $900!!
