The weather network says 17C and Sunny. Must be a nice job, weatherman, you can be wrong 80% of the time, and you still have a job!!

Yeah, I vote we go Rain or Shine.

How about a slight change of plans guys, since no one from Calgary is coming up, how about we go to the Reynold Museum in Wetaskiwin instead? It's a shorter drive and it'd still be fun, since they're doing:

"History Road: The Ultimate car Show" this weekend.

10th Anniversay of Alberta's ultimate car show!

350 cars from 1903-2009.
Cars from the upcoming movie "the greatest auto show on earth"
There's more, take a look at the ad on page A5 of today's (June 10) Ed Journal.
etc etc etc.

I'm in regardless of weather too... well okay, I draw the line at tornados and blizzards (both a distinct possibility in Alberta in June), but other than that, we roll!

Wetaskawin sounds like a good plan Pro - the museum thing sounds interesting.

Cool link Nick. It says it's from 2-3 on Saturday, but I expect that's just the 'parade'. I called them, and they said they're open from 9 on Saturday. They asked if we wanted to 'participate in the show'. I said thanks, but the parking lot would be fine, I hope you're all OK with that .

Here's a scan of the ad from the paper. Looking forward to Saturday.

The weather network now says 15 degrees and 20% chance of rain.
Goverment Weatheroffice says 12 degrees.
Wunderground says 12 degrees and a 60% chance of rain.

So, it looks like it's probably gonna rain. Or not. I'm still gonna be there. I'll wash my car on Sunny Sunday.

Man, the weather forecast is changing again, at least this time for the better Still forecasting rain, but now just 20% on all the sites (at least the ones I looked at ). Isn't a 20% chance the same as saying 80% it WON'T rain? Why is it then that anything over 5% pretty much guarantees it'll rain?? Weathermen, what a job!!

Anyway, I'll be the 'picture car' as I'm bringing a friend who's agreed to shoot pics. Pass slowly if you want a moving shot. I'm also bringing my back seat 5 year old with me, so no speeding . My little guy will enjoy all the cars!

Pro, the shorter trip works better for me. We have some friends coming for a BBQ later that afternoon. 4 year old Erick will be my official co-pilot. We are both looking forward to the drive!

Besides all the Porsches (there really is no substitute!!), the only other runners who said they'd show are a 348, a Murci, a Diablo and a Gallardo. Should be fun. Looking forward to 10:00 AM tomorrow. Anyone bringing a vid cam?

I *should* have a vid cam along for tomorrow (planning to buy one today).

I was talking to a guy from the local Porsche club and apparently they are heading to Wetaskawin tomorrow as well - they're leaving at 8 a.m. and they will be displaying their rides there. There's a possibility a CGT will be along for the ride

That group is doing a get together tonight at Eurasia at around 6:30. Meet and greet, short drive and then munchies on a patio somewhere.

Paul told me to extend the invite to anyone I thought might be interested so consider yourselves invited!

Nick
