I am back in town, and back to the daily grind..

BTW, the guys at CEC said they are bringing the white Techart car to Calgary this weekend for the kickoff of the Bullrun. I think the kickoff would be worth checking out, if you have the weekend free (which I don't...)

Alrighty - I figured out what the problem was and I've now re-processed the video with the proper aspect ratio!

Looks a little better than the "stubby car" first attempt!

And... here's a video someone (not me) did of the Friday night Eurasia drive.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAIqjaCXhEU

VEEERRYYY nice rides present there - CGT, Ford GT, Superleggera, Murci (AJ's), several "regular" Gallardo's, F430 and a whole mess of Porsches.

Thanks Nick. Both great vids. I like yours a LOT better though, it's much nicer to see the cars rolling

LOL - the next vid will be even better. We learned a lot from this outing about camera placement, movement, etc.

One thing I want to look into is some kind of external microphone to catch the sounds of the cars as they go by. Parts of the vid were done with the window down, which is fine at sub-highway speeds, so we caught some cool engine music... but once we start to open them up the wind noise was too much.

Too bad the Eurasia vid doesn't have any moving shots - that CGT sounded badass...

I think there was a better representation of hot cars this year, but it looks like they got to "play" a bit more last year. There was so much traffic along the route this year we had a hard time even getting up to the speed limit in most sections.

Thanks for digging that up though!

I was talking about the Eurasia drive being heavy traffic... not the Wetaskawin run...
